Whenever somewhere in the world made peace, this is a great event and a cause for celebration. Experience how the burghers of Križevci and Kalnik nobles finally reconciled. As a sign of the new covenant, a peace-making celebration was arranged in Križevci where a life in peace and harmony was arranged as well as a mutual assistance in the battle of angry enemies.

During four days travel to ancient times when picok (rooster) saved the town from the Turks! The rich activities, art exhibitions, book presentations, exhibitions of vintage cakes and a range of other entertainment, sporting and cultural events will overwhelm you. At its traditional Picokijada the proud citizens of Đurđevac celebrate the historic victory over the Turks and there is a theathre-play of the legend! See it as it takes place at the authentic location from which the legend originates. It includes hundreds of extras, cultural amateurs, horsemen and professional actors. Come back with us in the old days when picok (rooster) saved this city, join us in the winner's joy and abundance of gastronomic delight!

In the days the following activities will be arranged:visit Đurđevac – Town of the Rooster; attend event legend about the rooster and a tour of a number of exhibitions; enjoy the traditional dances, customs and rich cuisine.

Accommodation: Accommodation is provided at rural households and in hotels with three or four stars.

Transportation: In our organization, bus or minibus; own vehicle (if applicable / available on request).
