Regional park Mura-Drava, Visitor Center in Križovec

In Visitor Center in Križovec You can learn about flora of Regional Park Mura-Drava in Međimurje County. Regional Park Mura-Drava was declared by the Government of Republic of Croatia in February 2011. The park itself stretches over the territory of five Croatian counties, from Međimurje to Kopački rit Nature park. Parts of the park are also NATURA2000 ecological network sites. UNESCO has recognized this regional park as globally important and hence designated it as a part of Mura-Drava-Danube Transboundary Biosphere Reserve, in July 2012.
